Leica Brand pipe and cable locators are designed as stand-alone systems (the DD100 series) or as a fully integrated locator and software systems (the DD200 series).

The Leica DD200 SMART pipe and cable locator line is designed with the latest Bluetooth® technology to provide a wireless connection to mobile devices running on Android and iOS systems. Utilizing their DX Shield Software and internal GPS, these pipe and cable locators allow location data to be collected, stored, and analysed remotely from a desktop, laptop, tablet, or the DX Field Shield Android mobile app. Additionally, reports in DX Manager Shield provide a fast and convenient overview of product use, enabling identification of training needs and skills gaps – leading to reduced utility strikes.

The Leica DD100 pipe and locator series is their traditional stand-alone pipe and locator system. This line is designed with low learning curves in mind so that operators can start locating quickly with the confidence of a professional after minimal training while still providing the accuracy, depth, and reliability that the job requires.
