The powerful Midi Sonde by Leica can be used to trace sewers, drains, PVC pipelines and other non-conductive utilities. The sonde operates at industry standard frequencies of 8 kHz and 33 kHz. With an easy-to-read signal, the sonde has a diameter of 2.17 inches (55mm) and threading to allow attachment to drain rods, boring tools, and inspection cameras. Powered by 3 AA alkaline batteries, the Midi is Leica’s most powerful sonde with a working depth of 39.4 feet (12m)
