Get to grade faster with the Leica MC200 Depthmaster Machine Laser Receiver
The MC200 Depth Master Laser Receiver is designed to get you to grade with speed and accuracy. When used with your grade laser, this device allows machine operators to quickly determine whether a grade needs to be raised or lowered without having to rely on a rodman. This saves equipment hours as well as man-hours. It also speeds up all parts of a grading or leveling operation, keeping projects on schedule and under budget.
Applications for the Leica MC200 Depthmaster Machine Laser Receiver
- Grading and excavation
- Site preparation
- Road, runway, and landfill construction
- Agricultural land levelling and drainage
- Sports fields, tennis courts, driveways and landscaping
The Leica MC200 Depthmaster works with most rotary grade lasers in the industry
The MC200 Depthmaster Machine Laser Receiver can read any rotary grade laser with a wavelength of 635nm to 785nm. This covers most industry standard single and dual grade red beam rotary lasers. So no need to worry if you have a grade laser from a different brand.
Reduce operating time and improve grading accuracy with the MC200 Depthmaster
The following features are designed to improve project efficiency and are all standard on the MC200 Depthmaster
- 8.3-inch, 200-degree laser reception: provides a large working area and range.
- Plumb / Vertical indicator: accurate to ±0.75° to 1.25° for plumbing backhoe dipper sticks
- “Shake-to-wake”: After 5 minutes, the MC200 goes into standby to conserve battery charge. The receiver will reactivate when moved.
- LED indicators show position of the machine cutting edge in relation to laser reference beam
- Memory: stores last signal received. LED arrows indicate which way to move the bucket to pick up the laser beam again.
- IP67 Rating: Rugged, waterproof construction
- Magnetic Mount (optional): allows quick mounting and removal: no welding necessary
- Clamp Mount (optional): for non-ferrous area attachments or for more permanent mounting.
The MC200 Depthmaster’s LEDs indicate direction on both sides of the unit
Blinking LEDs point in the direction to move the bucket to reach grade. Blinking arrows indicate the direction of grade. The LEDs are mirrored on each side of the MC200, allowing both operators and groundmen to read the device.
Save money with the MC200’s rechargeable NiMH batteries
The MC200 has rechargeable batteries that will last over 48 hours on a single charge. This means that if you forget to charge the batteries the night before, there will be no worries about down time. You will also save valuable time on the jobsite by eliminating trips to pick up replacement batteries.
The MC200 Depthmaster is available in multiple packages
The Depth Master is available in four packages to offer versatility for the needs of your projects. If you’d like to create your own package, please use the form on our “Government Customers” page to reach out to us or give us a call: we’d love to build a custom package to suite your needs.
