The VF-10R can find more than pipes and cables
The VF-10R is an ideal tool for locating buried power cables, CATV cables, gas and water pipes, sewer lines, telecommunication lines, fiber optic cables with sheathing, sondes, and inspection camera transmitters. If the line conducts electricity, the VF-10R can find it. Additionally, with the industry standard frequencies of 8 kHz, 33 kHz, and 512 kHz, the unit can locate most sondes, even in buried PVC, ceramic, or plastic pipelines.

The 5-10 watt variable transmitter: versatility in any locating environment
With a 10-amp hour Li-ion rechargeable battery, the PL-VF10R transmitter still has a variable 5-watt or 10-watt power output for stronger signals and deeper detection. The transmitter has eight different operating frequencies (512 Hz, 815 Hz, 8khz, 33kHz, 65kHz, 82kHz, 200kHz and 480kHz) ensuring that whatever the locating environment, the operator can locate without EMF interference.
The Variable Frequency Receiver: tune out EMF interference
The VF-10R receiver is remotely connected to the transmitter allowing the operator to change the locating frequency and transmitter power output from up to 400 yards away with the touch of a button. A large, high-contrast LCD screen offers a clearly visible signal response in any lighting. Automatic depth, current, and location arrows are readable in the brightest sunshine or during dim early morning and late evening locates. The rechargeable Li-ion battery in the receiver can last through 8 to 20 hours of continuous usage and up to 80 hours of intermittent usage per charge, so you can be sure to get the job done.
