The PL-G Utility Locator can find more than just cables and pipelines.
The PL-G Utility Locator is an ideal tool for locating buried power cables, CATV cables, gas and water pipes, sewer lines, telecommunication lines, fiber optic cables with sheathing, sondes, and inspection camera transmitters. If the line conducts electricity, the PL-G can find it. Additionally, the PL-G can locate sondes operating on 8kHz, 27kHz, and 83kHz frequencies, even in buried PVC, ceramic, or plastic pipelines.

The PL-G Transmitter: Variable outputs for versatility in any search environment
The PL-G transmitter has a 05. / 1.0 watt power output when operating in inductive mode and a 3-watt output when operating in conductive mode. The transmitter has multiple operating frequencies ensuring that whatever the locating environment, the operator can identify the correct line.
The Variable Frequency Receiver with easy to read LCD screen
The PL-G receiver has large, high-contrast LCD screen offers a clearly visible signal response in any lighting. Automatic depth, current, and location arrows are readable in the brightest sunshine or on dim early morning and late evening locates.
