The automatic self-leveling Spectra Precision® GL412 single grade lasers are the most rugged, cost-effective lasers that do three jobs—level, grade, and vertical alignment. Even in harsh jobsite conditions, the GL412 single grade laser delivers consistently reliable and accurate performance, enabling you to work faster and smarter.
The rugged GL412N lasers can withstand drops of up to 3 feet (1 m) onto concrete and tripod tip-overs up to 5 feet (1.5 m). This strength, combined with full weatherproofing and dustproofing, reduces downtime and lowers repair costs over the lifetime of the product.
Each GL412N laser system now includes the advanced HL760 Digital Readout (DRO) receiver or CR700 Receiver. The receiver provides automatic Grade Match which allows measurement of unknown grade values between two points over unknown ground and eliminates time consuming slope calculations. PlaneLok automatically locks on to an existing elevation or vertical alignment point which eliminates all drift or possibility of error due to improper calibration or weather. The new unique “Fingerprint” function only accepts the beam from the laser it is paired with. The CR700 receiver is also an option when a machine mounted display elevation is required.

Self-Leveling: Allows the GL412 Single Grade Laser to level itself along both axis. Save time and frustration at the set-up of your jobsite.
Grade Match Mode: Allows you to match the laser to an existing slope. Simply set your receiver at the same height as the transmitter then after going to your remote point, press a button on the wireless remote to enable the transmitter to automatically match and display the grade... without returning to the laser transmitter.
PlaneLok: Automatically locks on to an existing elevation or vertical alignment point which eliminates all drift or possibility of error due to improper calibration or weather
