The DG813 Dialgrade Extra Package comes will all of the products and features of the standard package, except instead of the trivet for 8 inch pipes, the Extra package contains the large adjustable trivet for 10, 12, and 15 inch pipelines. The large trivet is available in Imperial or Metric options.
In addition, the Extra Package also includes the 1239 Vertical Pole for raising the DG813 device above the trivet in pipelines larger than 15 inches.

Self-Leveling: The DG813 features the largest automatic leveling range in the industry, providing quick and easy setups regardless of grade. Unlike traditional pipe lasers, the unit eliminates the need for rough leveling and minimizes crew training time. Simply set up the laser in the pipe, manhole, or open cut without the need to swivel or rough level the unit.
Line Alert: This unique feature is ideal for working in high-vibration or wet conditions where the pipe lasers may be disturbed. The beam flashes to notify you that the setup line has been disturbed, eliminating the necessity of rework. Combined with the self-leveling warning, you can complete the job correctly, on time and on budget!
Line Set: The Line Set/Check capability allows you to raise the beam up to 100% outside of the trench for fast line setup or checking. Raising the laser beam out of the trench to an above-ground stake saves you time—instead of having to move the excavator offline during setup of the pipe laser, you can get on with your job. In addition, the Line Set-Check feature is ideal for rechecking the line for pipe jacking after each push.
Target: The patented Target Lens collects the beam and transfers the spot up to the pipe layer’s angle of view, making it very easy to see the laser beam (inclusive in the extra package).
Use the RC603 Control the DG813 Pipe Laser Remotely
The RC803 remote works via radio at 130 m (430 ft) or in infra-red at 150 m (500 ft) for both “Over the Top” set-up and in pipe/trench set-up. The radio range is almost doubled with the use of Transporter ST805. In addition, the ST805 enables radio connection between the RC803 and the DG813.
The SF803 Spot Finder
The SF803 Spot Finder, when used with DG813, provides other automatic functions making it the smartest pipe laser in the industry:
Spot Align: This function automatically aligns the DG813 to the center of the Spot Finder in the pipe or to the direction of the manhole when used in a deep, short trench or “Over the Top” set up.
Spot Match: This feature is a great tool for checking that pipe has been installed to the correct grade or for finding the grade of existing pipe work. This function can also be used to calculate the grade between manholes.
SpotLok: This function can be used to easily establish a steep slope reference or to lock the beam in a desired position for applications such as solar farms where the beam could be subject to drift.
Spot Search: This feature can be used to manually locate the beam over long distances outside of the trench.
The 1239 Vertical Pole
When the pipelines in your project are larger than 15 inches, this adjustable pole will allow you to rase the DG813 Dial Grad pipeline laser above the trivet to the center of the pipe, allowing projects with larger pipeline diameters to continue without a hitch.

Spectra Precision’s pipe lasers are extremely rugged and thrive in demanding underground conditions. The DG813 has an IP68 protection rating for dust resistance and water submersion up to 10 feet. If something should go wrong, the laser comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The NiMH battery pack is rechargeable and provides up to 40 hours of power, in case you forget to charge your device the night before. If you forget to charge the battery pack, the DG618 can operate on 4 C cell alkaline batteries.
