The clamp sonde is a perfect match for your 12mm trace rod or pipeline inspection camera system. Using the Clamp Sonde, plumbers can trace the route of underground duct, plastic pipelines, and ceramic sewer drains. With an easy-to-read signal and a working depth of 16.5ft (5m), deeply buried main sewer lines will be easy to trace. This sonde clamps directly onto a 12mm (0.47”) duct rod, trace rod, or sewer inspection camera. The clamp sonde operates at an industry standard 33kHz frequency and can be read by most pipe and cable location receivers.
